The game is loosely based on an event held in Germany each year, though the emphasis is on the authenticity of the cars. Obviously there's a lot of variation in handling between a standard 60s chassis, and the out-of-proportion monster truck Bug. And for each type of car there's a competition customised to make the most of their strengths.
There's a lot to admire technically in this game, aside from how well it's going to play. Look forward to the first driving game with infinite draw distance, thanks to a revolutionary new graphics engine Effecto Caos has named AMBUSH. Better yet, this performance is promised to be the same whether you're running it in software, or on a 3D accelerator. It's going to be interesting to see.
